Setting up the owner login

Allowing your owners to use the owner login can provide your owners with direct access to information about the bookings received for their property, see their statements and monies due as well as allow them to add owner bookings and add the required DAC7 information.

The owner login can be set up while creating a new owner or it can be added to an existing owner.

Set Up Owner Login

  1. Go to Agency > Add Owners or to edit an existing owner go to Agency > Edit Owners.
  2. Select Edit to the right of the owner.
  1. Ensure an email address is entered under General Information.

  1. Scroll to Owners Login Details section and select the options required.

  1. Set a password.
  2. - Enter a password manually
  3. - Click the Generate New Password button

Expand or collapse content 2. Can update prices

You can allow the owner to add and amended prices for their properties by ticking the option.

Within the owner login there will be the menu option Properties > Edit properties.

The next page provides a list of the owner's properties with the option to edit the prices and availability.

The price planner will be showing, allowing the owner to click into the price row and add / edit / delete prices as required.

The first month at the top of the page can be selected  by using these options:

Please note:
Should you have enabled the owner to change the prices in the owner login, you might receives bookings, which do not comply with the prices you expected for a booking.

The special prices will be available for the owner to add even if they are not allowed to change the prices otherwise.

You can allow the owner to add and amended short breaks for their properties by ticking the option.

Within the owner login there will be the menu option Properties > Edit properties.

The next page provides a list of the owner's properties with the option to edit the prices and availability.

The price planner will be showing, allowing the owner to click into the price row and add / edit / delete prices as required.

Expand or collapse content 4. Can add properties

You can allow the owner to add further properties by ticking the option.

Within the owner login there will be the menu option Properties > Add property.

On the next page all important information about the property can be added.
The owner needs to make sure to click Save at the bottom once finished entering the information.

With this option ticket, the owner can amend the overall settings for the property.

Within the owner login there will be the menu option Properties > Edit properties.

The next page provides a list of the owner's properties with the a drop-down menu to the right.

Please note:
Depending by wish options have been chosen in the owner settings, the drop-down menu will show different options.
The screenshot below shows all available options.

Expand or collapse content 5.1. Property details

The property details contain the information also found under Properties > Edit > Go in SuperControl directly.
The owner is also able to change the allowed arrival and departure time.

There is a limited number of discounts the owner is able to apply themselves.
Not all discount that can be set up in your SuperControl account can be set up by the owner.
The below screenshot shows you what the owner will be able to add / edit.

With this option enabled, the owner will e able to add / edit the
- Short description
- Main description
- Location information
- Booking summary information / terms 

Please note:
If you are listing the properties on channels, which offer full content integration, e. g. Booking.com, Airbnb etc., you should be in control of the description rather than the owner.

The owner can add further / new photos when this option is enabled. They can also delete photos and change the main image.

All amenities which have been created under Properties > Amenities > Add / edit amenities will be showing here.
This is regardless, if the amenity has been associated with the property or not.
All amenities, which have been associated with the property of the owner are ticked.

This functionality allows you to set up amenities and the owners can tick, which ones their property is offering.
When the owner selects an amenity in the owner login, it will also show as associated with their property under Properties > Amenities > Add / edit amenities.

Example
The large dog bed is associated with only one property.

The owner is now selecting in the owner login that his property is providing large dog beds.

The number of properties providing large dog beds is automatically updated.
Now this amenity is associated with two properties.

The owner can set or amend the location for the property.

Expand or collapse content 5.7. Pricing model

This allows the owner to change the:
- Short break pricing model
- Additional short break price settings
- Normal start days for weekly bookings

Expand or collapse content 6. Default login page

This is the first page in the owner login the owner will see after logging in.
Select the required page from the drop-down menu.

Expand or collapse content 7. Access to UpFront Reviews

When you are using UpFront Review for the gathering guest feetback, you can allow your owner to view and reply to reviews received.
When you tick the option Access to UpFront Reviews, the options to allow the owner to reply to the review as well as to have this owner reply published with the review become available.

Expand or collapse content 8. Show agreed rates

This options provides the owner with information about the agreed weekly rates and the amount they can expect once your commission has been taken off.

Within the owner login this information can be found under Payments & Statements > Agreed rates.

The Export link in the bottom left hand corner provides to option for the owner to export the figures shown.

Expand or collapse content 9. Show customer prices

With this option ticked you show the weekly rate for the property to the owner. This means, they will see the weekly rate as well as what they will earn.
The weekly rate will be higher than the payment the owner receives, as your commission will be deducted before the owner is paid.

The Export link in the bottom left hand corner provides to option for the owner to export the firgures shown.

Please note:
You need to have the option Show agreed rates ticked for the properties weekly prices to show.
When only the option Show customer prices has been ticked, the owner will not be able to view the table with the weekly rate and their earnings in comparison.

When this is ticked a menu item called Properties shows in the owner login.
Here the owner will find Maps as an option

Expand or collapse content 11. Show payment statement

When this option is ticked, further options as to what exactly should be visible for the owner, will appear.

Another option for the owner to select will appear under Payments & Statements.

The owner will see all payments due for the dates he selects at the top of the page.
the below screenshot shows that the owner would see. It is a copy of the statement you see in SuperControl.

Please note:
Date type should be set to Owner payment date as that is the setting used in the statement for the individual owner.

When this option is ticked, further options as to what exactly should be visible for the owner, will appear.

Another option for the owner to select will appear under Payments & Statements.

Property Owners Area - Google Chrome

The table created shows the payments details depending on the dates selected.

Expand or collapse content 13. Earliest date for viewing statements

This option allows you to limit how far back payment schedules can be view.
In the owner payment tab it will not be able to select a date prior to the one selected here.

Example:
In the owner settings the 01.10.2025 has been selected.
In the owner login it is not possible to select a date prior to the 01.10.2025.

With Show all dates ticked the selection option vanished and all dates are available for the owner to select.

Expand or collapse content 14. Viewing booking details

When the option to Allow access to booking details is selected further options become available.

With this option ticked, the owner is able to select any booking they see in the owner login when they go to View and add bookings. The details of the booking will show on a new page.

Expand or collapse content 15.1. Allow to edit customer details (owner bookings only)

Selecting this options allows the owner to enter the guest details in an owner booking.
Though the owner can decide, if they want to add any guest details or not, by ticking the box in front of Enter guest details.

If the owner is allowed to edit an existing Owner booking, an Edit button shows ont eh right hand side of the selected booking.

When clicked, a pop-up appears and the options Customer details, Booking extras and Housekeeper notes become available as shown in the screenshots below.

Expand or collapse content 16. Owner can add...

There are several permissions that can be granted to the owner in regard to what they can do when added an owner booking:

  • Owner can add bookings
  • Owner can add value to booking
  • Owner can require housekeeper
  • Owner can view guest names
  • Owner can edit guest comments

If you choose to enable the option Owner bookings will be marked as property closed, any booking an owner adds themselves will not have the status provisional or confirmed, but Property closed.
With this selected no auto-emails will be sent to the guest.

Expand or collapse content 17. Owner can update their contact details

A new option becomes available under the Your details menu in the owner login when this option has been enabled.

The owner can update the top section of the owner settings.

Expand or collapse content 18. Owner can add housekeeping notes

This allows the owner to request a housekeeper for owner bookings.

The drop-down menu allows you to set, if the owner is allowed to see housekeeper notes.

Expand or collapse content 19. Owner can view source of cross-updated bookings in arrivals list

If cross-updating has been set up for a property, this option allows the owner to see where the booking was originally made.

When you select a specific year from the drop-down menu, this will be the default year showing under View & add bookings in the owner login.

Expand or collapse content 21. Copy to all owners

When you are setting up your owners and what all to have the same settings for the owner login, you can set one owner up as required and then copy the settings to all other owners.

Please note:
This button should only be used, when all owners have identical settings.
Once applied, this cannot be reversed.

The Support team is unable to reverse the changes to the individual owners.
