If you are an existing user of Group Accommodation, you will be using a connection method known as iCal. This is available to existing as well as new users.

To create the iCal URL, which needs to be added to your Group Accommodation login, please follow the instructions below.

1. Log into your SuperControl account.
2. Go to Integration > Admin Tools > iCal Feed > click the tab Individual properties.

3. Look for the property you want to connect to Group Accommodation using the iCal feed.
4. Copy the contents of the field Basic iCal feed (booked dates only).

5. Paste the link into an application like NotePad or similar.
   Any basic text editor will do.
6. The URL will be looking something like this:

https://api.supercontrol.co.uk/ical/D3BA19938447B22A/basic/10B4FEA22AEC3890/ical.ics

7. You need to make a small amendment to the copied iCal URL before using it in your Group Accommodation login.

Example:

The original URL
https://api.supercontrol.co.uk/ical/D3BA19938447B22A/basic/1D9ADA454D310708/ical.ics

needs to be amended to
http://api.supercontrol.co.uk/groupaccommodation/D3BA19938447B22A/basic/1D9ADA454D310708/ical.ics 

You will notice the /ical/ in the URL has been changed to /groupaccommodation/

8. Copy this amended URL.
   It needs to be added to Group Accommodation to establish the connection.
9. Open a new browser tab or browser window.
10. Go to the Group Accommodation website and click on login at the top right. 

11. Log in as normal.

12. Go to Your Properties > Manage Property for the accommodation you want to add the iCal URL to.
13. Paste the previously amended iCal link into the field Supercontrol Feed URL.
14. Click Update.
