Home screen & dashboard

Updated on

The home screen and dashboard in SuperControl are the first places to look for what’s happening in your account. They give you quick access to the most important details, like upcoming bookings, payments due, and any alerts that need your attention.

By getting familiar with this area, you’ll always have a clear picture of your business at a glance. It helps you stay organised, spot issues early, and save time by going straight to the information you need.

This top section will stay the same no matter what page you are on in the system.
On the top left hand side you will see the following:

  1. SuperControl Logo
To navigate back to the home screen at any time you can click the SuperControl logo to be re-directed.
  2. Company name
The Company name can be found in Admin > General Details.
  3. Login user name
This is the user which is currently logged in.
  4. Account ID
When contacting the support team they will ask for the Company name and Account ID to help identify the correct account as part of our verification process.

On the top right hand side you will see the following:

  1. Dashboard button
The Dashboard will bring up the information about booking reminders, new bookings, arrivals and departures, at a glance.
  2. Alerts
When either updates or alerts are added by SuperControl, you can review them in Alerts. For example: new channel bookings, system updates, etc.
  3. Search
Search allows you to look for a booking number, guest name, postcode, email address, property and more.
  4. Log out
It is best practice to Log out of the account when you are finished.
  5. Help
The Help button will allow you to access the Help Centre articles, request Help from our Support Team, check the system status and/or view your tickets.
  6. On page help
When you click the On Page Help arrow, links to Help Centre articles that are relevant to the current page will appear.
Expand or collapse content Due payments

The Due payments section can be customised to show payments which are due within the chosen number of days, and further filtered to show specific Agents (Channels) and/or Affiliates.  This section when managed well, will help you keep on top of which guests are due to pay, and also non payments.

You can opt to hide any channel bookings from this screen in the View agents drop down, or be selective about the channel bookings you want to see in the Affiliate drop down.
The system will show bookings that are overdue with red text.  You will also see the status of both the Deposit and balance displayed as Paid or Unpaid.
The system will show bookings that will be due in the chosen time frame with black text.

For example, if you select Exclude agents bookings in the View Agents drop-down it will only display website and admin bookings.

Expand or collapse content Recent bookings

The Recent bookings section is where you can see bookings that have been recently taken.  The time frame can be selected by using the Bookings made in the last xx days drop-down.
You can opt to hide any channel bookings from this screen in the View agents drop down, or be selective about the channel bookings you want to see in the Affiliate drop down.

Once you click on a booking number and view that booking, when you return to this screen this booking will no longer show in bold as it has been marked as read.
