The Web Details section is where you add information about a property.

This info can be shared with booking sites (like Airbnb or Booking.com) and automatically added to emails using tags.

✨ Top Tips for Property Descriptions

  1. Lead with the best feature
    • Start with what makes the property unique (sea view, cozy log fire, private garden, central location, etc.).
  2. Keep it clear and easy to scan
    • Use short sentences and break text into small paragraphs.
    • Highlight key amenities (Wi-Fi, parking, pet-friendly).
  3. Write for your guest, not yourself
    • Focus on the experience they’ll have (“Wake up to ocean views…”), not just a list of features.
  4. Be honest
    • Manage expectations by being accurate. Guests trust clear descriptions more than overselling.
  5. Use keywords naturally
    • Include terms guests are likely to search for (e.g., “family-friendly cottage,” “near city centre,” “beachfront apartment”).
  6. Add personality
    • A warm, inviting tone helps guests imagine themselves there.
  7. Cover practical details
    • Mention number of bedrooms, bathrooms, layout, and any accessibility info.
  8. Highlight local perks
    • Nearby attractions, shops, transport links, or hidden gems make listings more appealing.

1. Go to Properties > Edit > Drop down settings tab, Select Web details > Go.

Please note:
If you have a property assigned to more than one website, you can create different descriptions by site. Just select the site at the top left. Add the descriptions, scroll to the bottom of the page and Save.
Repeat for the other site(s).

2.Add or edit your short and main descriptions.

These can be used for channel integrations and added in to emails with tags.

For AGENCY accounts only, you can add Location details, Changeover day notes, and a Second description for API use.

Please note:

  • If you’re connected to Airbnb, you’ll see an option to Update Airbnb Data.
  • By default, you’ll always see the option to Update HomeAway Data (now Vrbo), even if you’re not connected to HomeAway/Vrbo.

3. Make sure you click Save after finishing the editing.

The Web Details section also includes:

  • Custom Fields- for storing property-specific information.
  • Booking Summary Text- custom text shown to guests right after they complete a booking on your website.
  • Channel pages -  for some third-party listings like Airbnb and HomeAway.

Note: The Custom Calendar Text tab is only for old-style calendars. It’s not needed for the new accounts.
