Please note:
This issue will only arise in connection when custom start / arrival date have been enabled in the price planner.
When you are setting up your short breaks in the price planner, you have the option to prevent guests from booking stays, which would extend past the end date of the short break period.

In the price planner you would only see the End date, which has been set.
In the screenshot below, the guests will only be able to book stays for full weeks after the 06.04.2025.

A custom arrival day is being set by clicking into the start days field, e.g. Wednesday, 09.04.2025.

Guests can now arrive and depart on this date as well.
For the short break setup this means that a guest would be able to arrive during the short break period and depart on the 09.04.2025. Which would not otherwise have been possible as the short breaks can't extend past the end date of the short break period.
With the minimum number of nights set to 3 and the maximum number of nights for a short break set to 7, the following bookings would be possible going past the end date:
