How do I cancel my SuperControl account?

Important information:

  • Notice Period: A minimum of 30 days’ notice in writing is required to close your SuperControl account.
  • First-Year Contracts: If you are leaving within your first year, you will still be liable for the full annual fee. Our accounts team will confirm the details if you’re unsure.
  • Feedback: We value your feedback and are always looking to improve. A member of our team may reach out to arrange a short call.

If you do intend to leave SuperControl, please contact Support and we will be in touch with instructions. However, there are two key steps you’ll need to address as part of your account closure:

1. Downloading Your Data

Most importantly, ensure you have a secure backup of your data:

  • Go to Admin > Maintenance > Download Database
  • This will allow you to retain all booking and account information for your records before your account is archived and data deleted.

2. Third-Party Integrations

If you intend to leave SuperControl, we’ll provide guidance on how to disconnect from any third-party integrations.

Please send us a list of all channels you’re currently linked to especially smaller or niche platforms (e.g. Farmstay, Holiday Cottage Compare) as some require specific disconnection procedures.

We also recommend giving notice to:

  • Your payment processor (e.g. Opayo, HolidayRentPayment)
  • Any third-party services you no longer require (e.g. Beyond Pricing)

 

Account Closure & Data Retention

  • Your account will remain active until the date you are paid up to.
  • After this date, your account will be archived.
  • All data will be automatically deleted 60 days after your renewal date has passed.

Important: If you require access to your account after the paid-up period (e.g. to download your database or disconnect third-party integrations), this will be subject to a re-connection fee. Please ensure all necessary steps are completed before your account is archived.

To avoid losing important information or incurring additional charges, we strongly recommend downloading your database and completing all disconnections before your account expiry date.
