We’ve added more helpful tooltips across SuperControl, especially in Agency settings. These quick explanations make it easier to understand what each option does, so you can configure with confidence.

Photo Uploads Made Easy

Last year, Vrbo changed its photo size requirements for listings, which meant many of you had to resize and re-upload images, a frustrating and time-consuming process. We’ve listened to your feedback and updated our photo uploader to validate images against these minimum size requirements before you upload. This ensures your photos meet OTA standards the first time, so you can create new listings without the hassle of re-sizing.

Dashboard Pop-Up Restored
Based on user feedback, we’ve reinstated the dashboard pop-up so that it opens each time you revisit your SuperControl home page, similar to the legacy reminders feature behaviour. This ensures important booking reminders are never missed.

Housekeeper updates

Housekeeper Notifications for Booking Changes:
When a booking is modified, the housekeeper assigned to the property will once again receive the appropriate update notification, ensuring smooth communication and operational clarity.

Housekeeper Login x Cross-Updating Bookings:
Enhancements have been made to ensure cross-updated bookings are clearly marked within the Housekeeper login, improving visibility and minimising confusion for HK teams.

 Mobile Date Picker Fixed:

Some housekeepers experienced issues selecting dates on mobile devices due to the recent Chrome browser updates. We’ve implemented an update so the date picker now works smoothly across all devices and browsers, keeping scheduling easy and reliable on the go. 

Grid view loading

We’ve improved how the grid view loads in SuperControl to reduce delays and eliminate intermittent loading issues for those of you loading multiple properties availability. Now when the grid view is loading, the filters will disable. This prevents overlapping requests that used to cause confusing results, like showing old data or making it look broken. Now, the grid loads correctly every time, so you can trust what you see and avoid unnecessary reloads. The result is a smoother, more responsive experience when browsing availability and making updates.

Adding a new property- Arrival days set-up

Your chosen arrival days can now be set when you first create a new property, ensuring quicker property set up when adding new properties to your account.

Airbnb Listing Mapping - Simplified and Safer

As part of the annual Airbnb updates we must do, to keep your Airbnb listings in SuperControl consistent with Airbnb's platform rules, we’ve removed the “room number” field and locked room type selection in SuperControl. This reduces mapping errors, keeps listing data cleaner, and helps new and updated properties publish smoothly to Airbnb; so you spend less time troubleshooting and more time taking bookings.

Booking.com Amenities Update

Booking.com has recently removed several older facility options from their listings. These will soon be removed from display in SuperControl to keep your listings aligned with Booking.com’s standards. During our review if we noticed some of these discontinued amenities were still selected in your property settings you will have received a direct alert within your account from us.

What’s changing?
The following amenities will no longer be supported:
Library | Bikes available | Bathroom | Shared bathroom | Accessible Parking | All Public And Private Spaces | Non-Smoking | Newspapers | Shoe Shine | Souvenirs/Giftshop | Rollaway Bed | Yukata | Color television | Large Double bed | Twin (bed)

What you need to know:

• You can still manage bathroom and bedroom configurations via Rooms in Property Settings.
• Parking settings remain available under Integrations > Booking.com > Property Settings > Parking.

No action is required unless you want to review your current settings. This update ensures your listings stay accurate and compliant with Booking.com’s latest requirements.

Archiving suppliers
Suppliers can now be archived whenever no pending payments exist. This resolves a previous issue that prevented users from selecting the archived status, helping you maintain a cleaner and more accurate supplier list.

Owner Login – Automated Email Fix 
A fix has been released to ensure that when owners update a booking through their portal, the correct automated emails are triggered for guests.
