How do I set a date restriction for a booking extra?

You may wish to offer certain booking extras on a seasonal or date-limited basis, for example, firewood in the winter or an outdoor pool int eh summer. 
You can either select the full months you offer these extras, or you can set the exact dates.

  1. Go to Properties > Booking extras.
  2. Either create a new booking extra by adding a name for the new extra and then clicking Next
    or
    Click onto the cog to the right of the extra to be edited and select Edit.

  1. For the option Date restriction, select Standard - by month or no restrictions.
  1. Once the booking extra has been created / amended, go to Properties > Booking extras.
  2. Click onto the name of the booking extra.
  3. Scroll to the very right hand side of the settings.
  4. You will see the option to select the start and end month when this booking extra will be active.
    The default is for the booking extra to be available all year round.

Please note:
Any changes made will be automatically changed.

  1. For the option Date restriction, select Standard - by month or no restrictions.
  1. Once the booking extra has been created / amended, go to Properties > Edit >  select Booking extras from the drop-down menu > Go.
  2. Scroll to the very right hand side of the settings.
    For the extra you want to allow only for specific date you will see Select dates.
    Click this link.

A pop-up will open.

  1. Select the start and end date by clicking on the calendar icon.

Please note:
If you want to allow the booking extra to be available only on selected dates, use the days of the week tick boxes to further define the date options.

  1. Click Insert when finished.
    A new row will be added to the pop-up showing the set up dates.
  1. Close the pop-up once finished.

Please note:
You will see the date ranges selected only when opening the pop-up.
The set up date ranges are no showing in the booking extra list in the column Months available.
