There is a setting in our calendar wizard, which will allow your guests to select the language they want to sue for the booking process.
The languages currently available are as follows:
- English
- French
- German
- Polish
To allow guests to select which language they want to use during the booking process, go to Admin> Website integration > Calendar wizard > Widget code tab.
Please note:
You can set this up after the initial calendar creation.
Select the Calendar key, which is the name you gave the calendar.
The page will expand showing the options you can use for your calendar.
There are two options relating to the widgets language settings:
1) Show translation for calendar widget
As it says underneath the tick box, this option will allow your guests to select the language they want to use the booking cart in.
2) Select default language
This will be the language the booking cart is being displayed by default.
The guest can change this, if the above option has been ticket to be used.
If you are updating your calendar to show the language option or create a new customer, you need to forward the widget code created to the person responsible for the upkeep of your website.
Simply copy the snippet code from the Generate snippet box and email it to the respective person.
At the top right hand of your calendar you will now see flag icons.
The visiting guest can click on the icon of their preferred language and the calendar and the book pop-up will be automatically translated.
