What if I have legacy calendars - how do I use the updated booking cart?

Updated on

Please note:
If you are still using our legacy calendars, you should already have been converted to an updated booking cart.
You should also consider to switch to the new calendars as the legacy calendar now looks outdated in contrast to the fresh and customisable look of the new calendars.

Why is this change happening?

We are no longer offering the "design match" service. This is where you could have the legacy booking cart page design matched to what your own website looks like. This way the guests booking journey appeared to be on your website domain throughout.

What do I need to do?

If you're on the legacy calendars you don't need to do anything. We will automatically switch you onto our updated booking cart which your guest will follow during their booking. Below is a comparison of the legacy booking cart compared to the updated template version you will be moved to:

Can I change the colour of the template?

  1. Yes you can.
Go to Admin > Website integration. You should see a saved default calendar here. If you don't see any calendar, please contact [email protected].
  2. Click Edit next to your calendar.
  3. Click the coloured square next to Brand (header, book button etc.) and choose your preferred colour option.
  4. Click Save calendar at the bottom.

I want your updated calendar on my website - how do I do this?

You can find more information on our latest calendars here

If you would like to add our current calendars onto your website to allow a more seamless booking journey for your guest visit this page for instructions on what to do.

We advise that you switch to our latest calendars as the booking journey is more seamless as the guest remains on your website when placing a booking. The legacy calendars are no longer supported, so although you may still use them, there will be no development work on them and they will not include any new changes we decide to implement in future.
