How do I create Calendars for selected properties only?

Updated on

If you need to show several different calendars containing some, but not all of your properties, please follow the guidance below.

You need a Site ID for each calendar. As therefore a number of site IDs are required for the setup, you might need to contact [email protected] and request as many additional Site IDs as required.

1. Once the additional site ID(s) have been added, you need to enter the URL of the page on your website where the calendar will display.
Go to Admin > Customisation options.
Enter the URL in the empty box

When you have added this, click 'Save'.

2. Go to Properties > Edit > Go > and scroll to the bottom of the page. Assign each property to all the relevant URLs.
Click Save.

Please note: The site IDs will not show, only the URLs that have been added.

In the example below, six properties have been divided between two Site IDs.
This will allow a calendar showing only the three cottages of the Cottages property group, and another calendar for the Villa and Castle properties.

3. Once you have assigned all the properties to their respective URLs, you then need to go to Admin > Website Integration > Calendar Wizard > Add new calendar tab.

Create a name for your calendar and select the Calendar site ID in the drop-down menu, which is the URL you have added previously.
Create your calendar as required. For more information about how to create calendar, please see this help centre article, start with Step 3.

4. The Widget Code for your calendar containing only specific properties is being created. It can needs to be added to your website.

5. When going to your website, you can now see that the six properties in the sample account have been split into two calendars, one for each group of properties:

One for just two properties:

One for the remaining four properties:
