Before you are creating an Admin booking you should consider the below options,
- Update customer prices (on change)
- Update owner prices (on change)
They might not be obvious influences on the booking you want add to the system, but they might be the cause for behaviour later observed that is unexpected / unwanted.
To review the settings, go into any booking, click Edit in the top right corner.
A pop-up should come up.
Pleased note:
If you do not see any pop-up, please check the settings of your browser and any plug-in / add-on you might be using.
They might prevent the pop-up from being displayed.
Update customer prices (on change)
When you add further properties or dates to a booking and/or change the dates for the booking while having this option selected, the price in the booking will be automatically amended.
Scenario:
A guest is needing to move his stay by a month into the future. The later dates are cheaper.
When you adjust the arrival and departure dates in the booking to the new dates the booking will
- show the same price with the option unselected. The guest pays the original, higher price for the new dates.
- show the cheaper price with the option selected. The guest pays the lower price for the new dates.
Update owner prices (on change)
When the booking is being amended, the payment entries under the Owner payment tab are being amended according to the new figures.
Scenario:
A guest needs to move his stay by a month into the future. They are now bringing a dog.
When you adjust the arrival and departure dates in the booking to the new dates and add the dog the booking will show:
The owner payment entries have also been amended.
