How do I add an enquiry via Bookings > Grid view?

The grid view can be used to add an enquiry, if your guests have dates in mind, but have not necessarily specified which property they want to stay in. It shows up all properties that are available on a single screen.

1. Go to Bookings > Grid view

2. From Grid view, click on the square for the requested arrival date
3. In the sliding out panel on the right select the number of nights, number of people and all other relevant option,  then Place enquiry

2. Add the properties of interest.

3. Add the contact details of the person that is enquiring in the Contact details section

Please note:
If the person enquiring has previously been staying with you before, you can look their details up using the Lookup past customers button. This will save you having to type in their details again.

You can search for Last name, Email address, Postcode or company name

4. Further details for the enquiry, e.g. Custom fields (if set up),  Subscription options can be added on the right hand side of the page.
There is also a field where further information can be recorded.  

5. Set up a follow-up action.
You should set up an action, e.g. contact customer, check with housekeeper etc.

You assign a follow-up to a specific user, set the date of the follow-up and add any required information in the Notes.

6. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

We recommend you use Enquiries > Add when you have, for example, received a phone call from a (potential) guest and you want to log their enquiry.
