How do I add manual per person pricing?

Updated on

1. First, make sure you have your capacity set correctly. Do this in Properties > Edit > {select property} > Settings > Go.

2. Set your “Default pricing capacity”. This is the first price that you wish to advertise on your calendars. For example, if you offer a two-person price on a property that sleeps six, you can set your default pricing capacity to “2”, and this will be the main price that displays. It will only change to a higher price if the guest selects a higher number of people.

3. Next, click on Price Planner (this is found on your grey menu bar at the top of the page).

4. To enter a price band, click on the day you would like your price band to start. In the pop-up enter the last date this price should run to (Note: the last date should always be the day before your next price band starts).

5. Enter your prices (numbers only). These prices relate to the capacity that is selected here:

6. Once you’ve entered your price, click Save.

7. To enter additional person pricing, click on the blue price band that you have just saved, and select your next person pricing option (eg if you offer a two-person price, select “2 people”).

8. The prices will display as 0.00. Simply enter the price you wish to charge for two people and click save.

9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 to add a price for 3, 4, 5 guests etc.

If a property sleeps four and I enter a price for “2 people” and “4 people”, how does the system calculate a price for one or three guests?

The system will use your 2-people price for one guest, and use your 4-people price for 3 guests. This means you don’t have to re-enter prices that are the same if the capacity is less.
