Should it become necessary for any reason that the mobile phone number, which has been used for the two factor authentication (2FA) in SuperControl, needs to be amended or changed please use the steps below.
Please note:
Each user needs to change the mobile number themselves.
It is not possible for any other user to do this. This is including the default user.
- Go to Admin > Login users.
- Click on 2FA settings
- On the next page you see an anonymised version of the mobile number currently set up for the two factor authentication (2FA).
- Click onto the small icon of a bin tot he right of the mobile number.
- On the next page you need to confirm that you indeed what to delete this two factor authentication.
The current two factor authentication will be removed. You will see a screen to restart the process of setting the two factor authentication up anew.
