How to create a booking source

Updated on

The key to using booking sources successfully is to make your booking source options as specific as possible.
Make a list of all your possible sources beforehand. Then create all the required booking sources.
It is possible to always add more or amend existing sources, if required.

  1. Enter the name of the source.
  2. If you want to have the sources display in a specific order, enter the number in Display order.
  3. Tick the source should be showing on the customer form or not.
Any sources you only want to use internally, you might not want to show on the public booking form.
  4. If you have several websites, you list your properties on (you would have several SiteIDs in this case), select the ones you want this source to be associated with.
This means that this source will only be visible to the guest when they are looking on this specific page.

Example:
There are two websites your properties can be listed on.
In the screenshot below:
- the top source is allocated to website 1
- the middle source is allocated to website 2
- the bottom sours is allocated to both websites, 1 and 2

  1. Click Add new.

Repeat the above steps for all sources you wish to add.
