If you have got multiple identical properties, e.g. several chalets of the same type? This feature allows you to control the pricing for all properties in the group via the lead property. Also, just one property per group, the lead property, will show in your calendar, making it easier for guests to check availability.
How it works:
- For example, if you have 3 groups with 5 properties each (15 total), only the main property from each group shows in the calendar.
- A group shows as available as long as at least one property in the group is available for the selected dates. Only when no property has any availability fort the selected dates will the property show as unavailable.
If you’re connected to Beyond, properties must appear individually. Grouped display isn’t possible because each property needs its own connection.
- Go to Properties > Property Groups.
- In the section Add Group, enter a name for the group, e.g., Property Sea View.
- Select the Main property (for grouped).
This is what we refer to as the lead property. You control the settings and prices for all properties in the group via this property.

4. Select the Display type from the drop-down menu. This means, if the properties in the group should display individually or grouped.

Display Individually:
Properties are grouped for internal use, but each property appears separately on your website with its own availability and prices.
Display Grouped:
Identical properties can be shown as a single group online (e.g., Cottages). Dates are available as long as at least one property in the group is free, and only show as unavailable when all are booked.
5. Decide, if the property name should be showing or only the property group name.

Should you have at least one property connected to Booking.com you will see a further option to select how the property group is showing on Booking.com.
Please note:
It is not possible to display properties grouped on Booking.com when using the full content (API) integration
6. Select, if the properties should be connected to Booking.com as a group or as individual properties.

1. Go to Properties > Edit > Settings > Go.
2. In the Property default section, select your group name and click Save at the bottom of the page.

Agency ONLY
Please note:
With the new DAC7 implementation the Property type has become a mandatory field.
Should you not yet have selected a property type, you will be prompted to select one when trying to change the allocation of the property to a property group.

Repeat the above steps step for all properties that need to be added to a property group.
