The grid view is a booking overview found in Bookings>Grid View; this is an easy way for you to see availability across all properties, change a booking & add a booking.
This is fully optimised for use in mobiles so you can add & manage bookings on the go.
You can change the filter settings to show the months/years & duration required as well as property searches.
It is possible to highlight the rows for specific properties and selected dates to make it easier to check and compare availability.

Click the field of the arrival date in the row of the property

Tip
If you have several properties, you can use the highlight feature to keep track of the row belonging to the property.
Simply click the icon shaped as a light bulb to the left of the property.

In the side panel the opens on the right hand side, select the number of nights.

Some of the details for the property are being pulled from the system so that you don't need to add them again, if your booking doesn't follow the normal rules that you have set you will be able to over ride any system messages that appear.
Should you need to edit of these you can do this once the booking has been created, such as adding additional pricing, discounts, guest details and XCover etc.

When you are adding XCover to the booking, the price will be automatically adjusted.

If you are wanting a booking to be added as zero value to close off a property for family/friends, maintenance etc you can click property closed
If you are an agency you will have the option of placing an owner booking here.
Once this happens you will be taken to the complete booking screen, where any system warnings can be over-ridden.
Enter and/or amend financial and guest details, any required fields and then click Save at the bottom of the page.
It is possible to load specific property groups or property types when opening the grid view. This allows you to have the properties most in demand visible from the start.
This option can be set in the grid view options.
