- Go to Integrations > Accountancy software export.
- Select your Accounting package as Xero.
- Enter your Xero Default code.
Please note:
You can obtain your Sales codes from your Xero login.
Go to Accounting > Chart of accounts.
Note down all required sales codes.
You can find your VAT code in Xero by going to Accounting > Advanced > Tax rates.
Copy the Name of the code exactly as it is shown and paste it into the Xero integration page in SuperControl e.g. 20% (VAT on Income).
- Enter the noted down codes into the respective fields.
You can enter different codes for deposits and balances, if required. - Click Save.
Please note:
Should you require different VAT settings for your individual properties, you can set them for wach property by going to Properties > Edit > select Financial from the drop-down menu > Go.
Make sure to save any changes.
Please note:
You need to have your default codes set up before you will be able to export.
- Go to Integrations > Accountancy software export
- Select Xero from the drop-down menu.
- Click the Export to Xero button.
- Enter your date range and click Filter.
- Tick the payments you wish to export to Xero.
This will create invoices in Xero allowing you to reconcile your payments. You can easily select all by ticking the very top tick box, or select individual payments:
- Click Download CSV at the bottom of the page.
- In Xero go to Business > Invoices > Import.
- Click Browse and upload the file you have exported from SuperControl from your saved location.
Select the correct options in the blue box as shown int eh screenshot below. - Click Import.
- Click Complete import.
