Applying scheduled emails to cross-updated bookings

Using emails with cross-updated bookings

Cross-updated bookings are designed to block off dates in your calendar, rather than act as full guest bookings. Because of this, scheduled emails are not automatically sent from these bookings.

In most cases, guest details (including email addresses) are not available on cross-updated bookings. This means you won’t be able to add or edit an email address, or send emails from the booking.

Guest details can only be shared from the original (source) booking, or added and retained on the cross-updated booking, if this has been configured by SuperControl.

If you need to send emails from cross-updated bookings, we can adjust your settings to allow this. Please contact our support team to request the change.

If the connection is between two separate accounts, we’ll need authorisation from both parties before updating the configuration.

For instructions on sending emails manually from a booking, see this guide:
How to send emails and payment links within a booking
