Depending on the properties being treated individually or grouped the setting for the DAC7 property type is either taken from the lead property or can be individually assigned.
In order for the properties to be treated individually in respect to the DAC7 property, you need to make sure that the Display type is showing Individual.
This option can be found under Properties > Property groups.
In the property settings, Properties > Edit > Go, both the Property type and the Custom property type can be selected as required.
When the option Grouped has been chosen under Properties > Property groups for a property group, the DAC7 Property type will be used for all the properties in the group.
In the property settings, Properties > Edit > Go, neither the Custom property type nor the Property type can be selected or changed.
The Property type has been taken from the lead property, hence the purple frame.
The Custom property type shows the type, which was selected before the property has been grouped (green frame). It can't be edited as long as the property is grouped.
