When you have downloaded the DAC7 report, an entry will be automatically added to the report tracker.
This allows you to keep track on the state of your uploaded reports.
By default this entry will be marked as Pending. As there is no direct connection between SuperControl and HMRC, we have no knowledge of the report having been successfully uploaded or not. Hence the need for this information to be recorded in SuperControl.
- Go to Agency > Reports > DAC7 report.
Scroll down to the report tracker. - Select the pencil in the Actions column.
The Status and Reason columns become available for editing.
- Select Approved from the Status drop-down menu.
- Add a reason, e.g. Approved by HMRC
- Click Save.
Please note:
Make sure to delete the default text Waiting for approval before adding your own text. Otherwise you will end up with the default and your own text in the field.
A pop-up will appear, asking for confirmation.
- Click Confirm.
It might take a moment before the pop-up is closed by the system.
Once that has been done the report upload is showing as approved in the record tracker.
