Verifying provided information from the owner

All seller information needs to be verified to make sure that the data is correct. 
It is your responsibility to check the data is correct.

Please note:
There will be data, e.g. the birthday of a seller, where you can't check the accuracy of the information provided.
You can use an external service like Yoti, do verify this information for you. For more information, please see this help centre article.

There are two places where you mark the seller information as correct and has been verified.

Expand or collapse content Property settings: Seller information
  1. Go to Agency > Edit owners > Edit > section Seller information.
  2. Tick the option Due diligence data is correct and verified.
  3. Click Save at the bottom of the page.
Expand or collapse content Seller validation (DAC7)
  1. Go to Agency > Seller Validation > click the pencil to right of seller entry
  2. Tick the option Due diligence data is correct and verified.
  3. Click Save.

Please note:
Should any information be added, amended or deleted after the data was verified, the tick box will become automatically unticked again.
