How do I link my existing Booking.com listings with SuperControl ?

Updated on

Please note:
This article is only for existing Booking.com listings.
Any existing reservations on Booking.com will be imported during the integration process.

Please note:
If your properties are already listing on Booking.com, please go straight to point 3.

1. Add the setup code, if you are new to Booking.com

If you are new to Booking.com, make sure you have received and added your setup code before starting the integration process. The setup code arrives by post.
Once the code has been added, create your properties and when finished you can decide, if you want to make the property live before starting the integration, or wait until after this has been done.

2. Checking your rate plans

When creating your properties in the Booking.com extranet you can set up a multitude of different rate plans. These would be set up under Rates and Availability > Rate plans.

You can create independent rate plans or dependent rates. Dependent rates plans are set up as a percentage of another rate plan, e.g. 10% less than standard rate plan.

Please note:
We CANNOT map dependent rate plans, only independent (stand alone) ones.

You need to have at least one rate plan set up prior to requesting the connection.
The maximum number of connectable rate plans is two.

A lot of our customers create a refundable and a non refundable rate plan, but it is entirely up to you, if you want to go down this route.

Does creating additional rate plans cause issue with my integration?

Unfortunately, yes.
We can connect only to two seperate rate plans.
If you have further rate plans set up, they will be available to the guests and you might receive bookings in SuperControl (from Booking.com) where the price is not what you expected it to be.

What should I do, if I don't want a Non-refundable rate?

You do not need to add a non-refundable rate plan, if you decide against it.
If you have originally set up a non-refundable rate plan, but then decide to no longer use it, please let us know before you delete it in the extranet.
It will prevent integration errors.
We will remove the rate plan from the connection and re-send the new data to Booking.com for processing. You can then remove it from the list of rate plans in the extranet was well.
