How do I link my existing Booking.com listings with SuperControl ?

Updated on

FOR EXISTING BOOKING.COM LISTINGS Please note as part of the connection process your existing bookings will be imported.

Process summary

The automated sign up tool in Booking.com allows your accommodation to request a connection directly to SuperControl by accessing the extranet of Booking.com. Once the request has been submitted, you will need to follow the below steps to ensure the connection is correctly enabled.

The steps taken between yourself and SuperControl

You can start the activation process via the Booking.com extranet by clicking on the Account link, on the right hand side of your Booking.com Extranet.  You then want to click 'Connectivity provider'.

Type or select 'SuperControl' within the search facility.

Once you have selected 'SuperControl' as the provider, you will be asked to accept the Terms and Conditions.

To complete your connection, complete all fields and accept and agree to the Terms and Conditions by clicking on Accept. You will receive a notification in your Extranet Inbox along with a PDF copy of your XML Service Agreement

SuperControl will now receive a notification with your request and will confirm the connection when all mapping / changes of settings their side have been updated/completed. After that, you will receive an email in your Extranet Inbox as below:

IMPORTANT: No extra steps are needed to be taken from within your Booking.com extranet at this stage. If you fail to receive notification from SuperControl in the extranet after 4 days from the request date, please contact us directly.

You can check the status of the request from within the Channel Manager section of your extranet.

We'll establish the connection to Booking.com from SuperControl for you.
Put your feet up and relax!

If you do need to connect more already on Booking.com listing properties, please go through the steps 1 - 3 again for all other properties.

If you are new to Booking.com

If you are new to Booking.com you will have to wait until you setup code arrives by post. Once you receive and input that you can make your property live.

Your connection is live when you click the 'make my property live' on the Booking.com Extranet.

When you initially connect to Booking.com you have the option to create a "Standard" rate plan and a "Non-refundable" rate plan.

However, within your Booking.com login you also have the opportunity to create your own unique rate plans if you desire (Located within the Rates and Availability page) See area highlighted in green as an example of new rate plan created:

Does creating additional rate plans cause issue with my integration?

Unfortunately, yes.
We can connect only to two seperate rate plans: Standard and Non-refundable.
If you have further rate plans set up, they will be available to the guests and you might receive bookings in SuperControl (from Booking.com) where the price is not what you expected it to be.
Rate plans that have been set up on the extranet as dependence of the standard rate plan, e.g. 10% cheaper than standard rate, can not be connected to SuperControl. Only standalone rates can be connected.

What should I do, if I don't want a Non-refundable rate?

Within your Booking.com extranet you are able to remove rate plans that you don't want.
Please inform us (SuperControl support) when intending to remove the non-refundable rate on the extranet. This will prevent integrations errors. We will then take the rate plan out of the connection, and ensures that your pricing will synchronise correctly.

You are done. Great job!
