How are security deposits handled?

If you have a security or refundable deposit set-up in SuperControl, we will forwarded the amount (value) to Holidu. On Holidu only the amount will display to the guest in plain text when they are booking. It will not be added to the payable amount.

Example:
A refundable deposit of £200 has been set up and the guest will be shown that this amount is payable while making the booking. This money will not be collected via Holidu though, but it will be itemised in the booking or shown in the Security deposit tab.
In order to collect the monies due, you need to contact the guest directly. You can set up an automated email, which is only send to Holidu bookings (Third party, criterion Source > Holidu), containing the booking summary and the payment link.
