Connecting to Sykes

The connection to Sykes is different from other channel connections.
It is based on cross-updating and therefore has the main aim of blocking off dates.

What is forwarded from Sykes to you:
- guest names
- guest information, including address and contact details
- financial information

What is forwarded from you to Sykes
- guest names

What is not forwarded in either direction
- prices, incl. discounts, special offers, special prices
- booking extras of any kind
- property information
- photos

To request the connection to Sykes go to Integrations > Channel manager > International > Sykes.

1) Only if you are already cross-updating to other SuperControl accounts you will see this message.

2) Click this button, when you have already signed up with Sykes. Regardless, if they are already actively marketing you properties or not.

3) Should you not yet have a contract with Sykes, use this button first of all.

Has Sykes already actively been taking bookings for you?

If Sykes has been taking bookings for you, you need to carry on with Step 1).
This will prepare your account for the connection.

After you have prepared your bookings, tick the box to agree to the terms and then click Save.

Once you have accepted the terms the page will reload and give you a list of all your properties.

Once you have accepted the terms the page will reload and give you a list of all your properties.

After requesting the connection the properties will show the connection as pending and the tick box has changed to the hour glass.

To the right of the property in the Toggle column tick the box(es) of the ones you want to have connected.
Then click the Submit button.

The icon to the right of the property name is a direct link to the property settings.

If you haven't already signed up with Sykes, you need to do this first.

The information that has been entered under Admin > General details > section Contact details, as well as your SuperControl account ID and number of active properties will be automatically populating the respective fields.
Amend and add as required, then click Submit.

Sykes will be notified of your request and will get in touch directly.

Not all your properties have to be initially connected. You can request the connection of further properties later on.
Simply tick the box in the Toggle column and notify Sykes

The icon to the right of the property ID is a link directly to the property settings.

After requesting the connection the properties will show the connection as pending and the tick box has changed to the hour glass.

Congratulations, you are done!
