In order to set up the integration between Independent Cottages and SuperControl, several steps are required.
Please first contact the SuperControl Support team using the email address [email protected].
We will enable the connection for you.
Once that has been done, we will send an email informing you that you can proceed with the steps below.
- Go to Admin > Website Integration > Add new Calendar
- Enter a Calendar name such as “Independent Cottages calendar” and and choose the site ID that should be associated with this calendar.
For Independent Cottages, this should just be your normal calendar site ID.
Should you only want to display a select number of properties from your account to this partner, please contact us, and we can assist in this setup.
- Choose your Calendar type.
You should select the Predefined tick box. Then select Independent Cottages from the dropdown menu.
- Ensure that Set as default calendar for availability search is unticked.
- Click Save calendar.
- Click Widget code and select the calendar you created for Independent Cottages from the Calendar key drop down:
- If you want to create a calendar widget for an individual property, make sure the option I will use this snippet to show single property only is ticked.
Otherwise leave it unticked. - Select the property from the drop-down menu.
- Your widget code (snippet) is generated automatically. You find it in the field called Generated snippet.
Either choose to Send code in email, when you want to directly email the widget code to your web developer. You default email program will be opening to allow you to send the email directly.
Or choose to Copy this to your clipboard. This way you can store the code or copy it into any other program as required.
- Log into your SuperControl account and go to Integrations > Channel manager > UK wide > Independent Cottages.
Here you will see several URLs (website addresses).
- You need to send these links (URLs) for the properties you want to connect to Independent Cottages.
Alternatively, if you want to connect all your properties, use the single link (URL) for all properties.
Copy the link(s) you want to forward to Independent Cottages into an email and send them directly to Independent Cottages.
