You can change the cancellation policy after the property has been created, connected and been booked by guests.
How you change the cancellation policy depends on whether you are connected using the Rates & Availability Only (legacy) integration, or if you are connected using the Full content (API) integration.
To change your cancellation policy, log into the Booking.com extranet. Then:
- Click on the Property > Policies
- In the top section, Cancellation and prepayment policies, within the top right hand square click Edit.
- Make any required changes in the pop-up window.
- Click Save at the bottom of the pop-up window.
Please note:
This new cancellation policy will only apply to new reservations. Any reservation already in Booking.com will not be effected.
If you are using the Full Content (API) integration you need to contact us by either opening a ticket requesting the change of cancellation policy, or send an email to [email protected].
Due to technical setup of the full content integration we need to make any required changes.
Please make sure, you let us know, what your new cancellation policy should be.
