You can now cancel Airbnb bookings directly within SuperControl, making it quicker and easier to manage guest changes without leaving the system.
1. Open the booking in SuperControl
2. Click the red Cancel button on the right and then again on the left.
3. A cancellation form will appear, completed the required field and submit the cancellation:
Any penalties charged by Airbnb for canceling the booking will be displayed at the top of the form. By proceeding with the cancellation, you acknowledge and accept these penalties.
Cancellation reason
- Select a reason for the cancellation - Some reasons require a message to the guest, these are marked with a red asterisk
Message to guest
- Required for certain cancellation reason. It must meet the minimum length before you can proceed
Remove scheduled owner payments
- This option appears in agency account and only if there are unpaid owner payments linked to the booking. Select this to remove any outstanding scheduled payments
Remove extras
- This option appears if extras have been added to the booking. Select to remove associated extras as part of the cancellation
The cancellation is processed with Airbnb and notes will be added to the History & Correspondence.
How the discounts stack
When multiple Airbnb discounts are eligible for a booking, Airbnb applies them in a defined tier order. Discounts from different tiers can stack together, with higher-tier discounts being applied before lower-tier discounts.
How discounts stack: Discounts from different tiers can be combined. For example, a guest may receive a Mobile-only Discount (Tier 4) and a Last-minute Discount (Tier 5) on the same booking if both discounts are available.
